We will be adding two fields to both our SOAP API and our REST API. In this email we will explain why the update is necessary and share the timeline.
WHY THE UPDATE?
To make DPD available for GB, we need to add the following fields to our platform: Invoice date VAT number of the recipient These fields are only required when using GB orders via DPD.
SOAP API
For the SOAP API we are planning a WSDL update, this is important for our customers who store the WSDL locally and/or have developed their own SOAP client. These new fields can be passed on to us by our customers via commitOrder SOAP and changeOrder SOAP. These two fields will also be included in the response via orderDetails SOAP, in case it was previously stored via commitOrder or changeOrder SOAP.

REST API
For the REST API, we are going to add these fields to the POST order and PUT order calls.
